The Animal Crossing video game series gets claim to its Lego collection – Tech & Co

The fan-favorite Animal Crossing characters will soon be available in Lego form.

The very popular video game franchise Animal Crossing will be available in Lego. The information was shared by the official Twitter accounts of Nintendo, the owner of Animal Crossing. In this series of life simulation video games we play a villager who has to take care of his village, fraternize with the residents and pay back his house.

“Welcome to… LEGO Animal Crossing!” Nintendo posted on its Twitter account.

Eight characters available

The proposed characters include several villagers, including very famous ones such as Marie and Tom Nook, emblematic characters of the series. The collection doesn’t appear to have highlighted any particular one of Animal Crossing’s five episodes, with the final episode, “New Horizons”, breaking popularity records, particularly during lockdown.

A total of eight villagers have been introduced so far. Decorative elements such as trees, various types of fruit and flowers, but also a balloon, all typical of the license, can also be seen.

No architectural features such as houses or Tom Nook’s cabin have been shown yet. There is little information available so far, as Nintendo states in its tweet.

According to the specialist site Animal Crossing World, these new construction toys could well see the light of day in March 2024.
