The average erect penis size worldwide has increased by 24% in 29 years. This is what the study of Stanford University School of Medicine. After the release of data on male reproductive health indicating a decline in sperm quality and testosterone levels over the past few decades, Michael Eisenberg, a physician and professor of urology at the University of California, US, decided to investigate whether the physical anatomy of the penis was also changing. The research, published in the scientific journal The World Journal of Men’s Health last Tuesday, 14, compiled data from 75 studies that reported the length of the penis in 55,761 men. “The length of the erect penis has increased from an average of 4.7 inches to 6.2 inches over the past 29 years,” Eisenberg, one of the study’s authors, commented to Blog Scope, Stanford University School Medicine, on the same day of the publication study. For him, the increase is due to environmental pollution such as environmental pollutants or increasing lack of exercise, which cause reproductive changes.
