The Bachelor is back tonight (Monday, January 22) and former Bachelorette contestant Joey Graziadei returns for his second chance at love.
Joey was announced as the next Bachelor in the season 20 finale of The Bachelorette, where he came in second place.
Season 28 will see the return of host Jesse Palmer, who succeeded Chris Harrison in 2021 after he was fired due to controversial comments in an extra interview.
The new season – in which 32 women enter the Bachelor villa and all compete for roses and ultimately Joey's heart – follows the hugely successful spin-off “Golden Bachelor”. In this series, the series' first septuagenarian, Gerry Turner, found his second chance at love with his new wife, Theresa Nist. The two recently tied the knot live on television.
US viewers can tune in to the first episode of The Bachelor tonight at 5pm PT/8pm ET on ABC.

Who is Daisy, the Bachelor fan favorite?
25-year-old Daisy is from Becker, Minnesota. Raised in a large, loving family with parents whose 30+ year marriage was the blueprint for the kind of love she is looking for, the account manager is ready to find a man who is loyal, adventurous and family oriented.
During the premiere episode, viewers learned that Daisy had lost much of her hearing and received a cochlear implant a few years ago.
She drove up in a pickup truck with a Christmas tree in the trunk, a nod to her childhood growing up on a Christmas tree farm

Already a few tears
We have already seen some tears from Lea. She opened the special card that was given to her during her guest appearance on the “After the Final Rose” episode of The Bachelorette, and it gave her the power to steal a personal date from one of the women before visits to her hometown.
After we talked to Joey about it and I realized that it didn't matter what little advantages she was given, there was no point in standing between him and another woman if she wasn't the right person for him.
In a noble move, Lea burned the map in the fire.
