Bachelorette star Jackson Garlick is engaged to his girlfriend of four years, Lyndsay Gates.
The Garlo’s Pies sales manager dropped the knee as the couple vacationed with his family in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to celebrate his 30th birthday.
Jackson shared the happy news on Instagram on Sunday with photos of himself and his model fiancée showing off their new diamond ring on the beach.
He also included a video of the moment he proposed on the balcony of a hotel room.
The clip, believed to have been filmed by a family member, shows former football player Jackson kneeling in front of his shocked girlfriend, who was sitting at a table.

After Jackson presented Lyndsay with a pear-shaped diamond ring, other vacationers could be heard cheering from another balcony in the distance.
“Doing things in Cabo.” [ring emoji]” Jackson captioned the post, tagging jeweler and former Bachelor In Paradise co-star Cassandra Mamone, who designed the ring.
A slew of reality stars rushed to congratulate the couple, including Bachelor star Brittany Hockley, who commented, “Weeeeeeee so much love!! I’m thrilled for you.”

Jackson confirmed his romance with executive team recruiter Lyndsay in November 2020, telling Chron Australia he was “so happy.”
At the time, the couple were traveling back and forth between Sydney and Newcastle to see each other, with Jackson living in Sydney.
Jackson previously romanced Brittney Weldon during Bachelor In Paradise, but the couple confirmed they split shortly after filming ended.

Jackson also added his own heartfelt statement, saying, “…and this is the end of my time and our time in paradise.”
“I am mostly responsible for our lack of effort to keep up our good cause because I went straight back into pre-season training and couldn’t travel to see them.”
“She deserves the world and I wish her so much happiness,” he concluded.
