The cast of The Bachelor have claimed the new season of the Channel 10 dating show has been “cursed” by bad luck.
It comes after a series of mishaps dogged the cast of the latest series, including a fire, a near-fatal accident that nearly killed one of the main cast, and lost income.
Felix Von Hofe, Jed McIntosh and Thomas Malucelli are the stars of this season and each has had more than their fair share of bad luck.

A source revealed to Yahoo that the reality stars just wished it was all over after their lives have been turned upside down since filming the series last August.
Back in August, Chron Australia revealed the handsome trio were all “pissed off” when told the dating show wouldn’t air until 2023.
McIntosh, Von Hofe and Malucelli were reportedly “angry” that they needed to “put their lives on hold” and delay any travel, career or business opportunities that came their way.
“The cast weren’t able to return to social media until three months after the final air date,” a source said at the time.

Meanwhile, the loss of income was the least of Malucelli’s problems after the 35-year-old transformation trainer from Bondi was hospitalized last October after the motorbike he was riding collided with a car.
Malucelli, who sustained a broken collarbone and torn thumb ligaments in the fall, told fans on his Instagram that he was “grateful to be alive.”
In December, co-star McIntosh suffered his own tragedy when his Melbourne studio caught fire just two days after Christmas, destroying $200,000 worth of recording equipment.

One of the many items destroyed was the musician’s $30,000 drum kit.
Commemorative plaques and autographed photos featuring some of the big names in the music industry were also destroyed in the fire.
Staple Studios, in the inner-city suburb of Brunswick East, housed two recording studios, a workshop space and a design studio.
It couldn’t have been worse timing for the rocker, who is set to give The Bachelors a final nudge in the press next week ahead of its January 9 premiere date.

As the first franchise, the new season of The Bachelors will have three male suitors – Hofe, McIntosh and Malucelli.
The remastered series promises to be filled with drama, betrayal and, of course, romance – with two suitors getting on one knee to propose to their chosen one.
Chron Australia can reveal that Channel 10 has decided to take inspiration from the US version of the series and introduce the ‘Bachelor Pad’.
This is where participants go when they want to have a secret tryst. There’s a huge bed, a jacuzzi, and a few sex toys to add some excitement.
Season 10 begins with the main cast, Felix, Jed and Thomas going on blind dates with each of their contestants before inviting them to live in the Bachelor’s mansion with a rose.
