Five years after they met on The Bachelor, Matty “J” Johnson and Laura Byrne tied the knot at a lavish ceremony on the south coast of New South Wales last year.
Now the couple seems set to buy their forever home.
According to Domain, the reality TV couple have bought a luxury apartment in North Bondi for $5.2 million.
The four bedroom semi-detached home is 373 square feet and has a beautiful leafy yard with a fire pit.
It was recently renovated and listed with a $4.5 million guide.

However, it was sold to the couple ahead of the scheduled auction by PPD’s Alexander Phillips on behalf of Simon Storry.
The interior of the house has a modern and Scandinavian flair with hardwood floors and stairs, white furniture and white walls.
While the couple live in Sydney, with Laura working at KIIS FM and Matty J presenting for Channel 10, they recently bought a house in Byron Bay.

In 2021, they bought a $1.87 million property in Bangalow, located in Upstate Byron Bay.
The spacious property has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and a two car garage.
In 2018, Laura revealed that the couple had “really saved up a lot” to buy their own home together.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph at the time, she said: “Right now we’re really trying to save so we can buy our own place. That’s the next step for the coming months.”
The couple met on the fifth season of The Bachelor in 2017 and got engaged in 2019.
Two years later, the loving couple started their family when they gave birth to their first child, daughter Marlie Mae.
Laura gave birth to their second daughter, Lola Ellis, in February 2021.
