Bachelors Ellie Rolfe and Luke Bateman confessed their love for each other on Wednesday night's episode of the troubled series.
And on Thursday night, the couple appeared on The Project and revealed they had already cemented their connection in surprising ways.
The genetically blessed duo told the judges they sealed the deal with fresh ink on the way to The Project studios after a boozy lunch.
“Yes, we had an eventful day today,” Rolfe told the co-hosts.
“It was very spontaneous. “We went out to lunch, had a few cocktails and were really excited and thought it would be a good idea to get matching tattoos,” she continued.

Bateman then told the audience that it was Rolfe's idea.
“We went out and had a boozy lunch,” he said.
“Ellie said, 'Should we get a tattoo?' and I thought it was a great idea.”
So what did the couple decide to do?
“It's a love heart and I have the letter L and he has the letter E,” Rolfe said.
The couple then showcased the designs on their respective upper arms.

Bateman is on his way to Rolfe's hometown in Western Australia to spend Christmas with her family and said he wasn't nervous about going there.
“I met Ellie's mother and father during filming, me and her father get on like a house on fire,” he said.
