I don’t know about you, but I’m one of those travelers who always wants to try new dishes while discovering a city, and I don’t pass up the opportunity to take a tour of the destination’s main bars and restaurants. The Travelers’ Choice Awards 2023 Best of the Best take into account the ratings of the participants over a period of 12 months. A total of 25 locations and attractions were selected, with a single Brazilian representative making the list.
1 Reykjavik Food Walk
The winning experience was the socalled “Reykjavik Food Walk” in Iceland. With a local guide, visitors get to know five restaurants in a 3hour tour and can enjoy more than eight local delicacies, such as the famous Icelandic hot dog or homemade ice cream. 2 Gastronomic Experience in Vietnam
This 4hour culinary experience in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam offers a variety of tastings including banh xeo (Vietnamese crispy pancake), bun thit nuong (grilled pork with rice noodles), and more. ! Boteco Tour Curitiba 21st place
Tour de Boteco de Curitiba placed 21st in the award. The bar tour in the capital Paraná is almost eight years old and has already welcomed more than 2,600 people in 250 editions.
The walking tour takes you through three bars in the city, and the bars change every season. On the 4hour tour from R$109, bar food is included in the package (three snacks at each bar), drinks are paid for separately.
