Today’s BBB 23 (Globo) featured the moment Fred Nicácio crossed his fingers to shake hands with Cristian.
After Tadeu Schmidt’s message about religious intolerance in the house, Cristian went to Nicácio to talk about his religion and the moment his brother stayed in the room at night.
Christian: “I have no problem with religion. I don’t judge anything. I have never spoken to you and I do not know if this topic was in vain. But sometimes you say words that must come from your religion. Axe. Exu. It must be a god, something like that, I don’t know. Well, not that I’m uncomfortable, but I don’t understand what it is and I’m scared.
Nicacio: “But what do you think religion has to do with me standing in front of your bed?”
Christian: “No, I brought up that fact because Tadeu spoke and then you talked about religion a lot more than other people there.”
Nicacio: “But I still can’t figure out what it has to do with it”
Christian: “Nothing, I just wanted to ask you this and that religion thing. They have no connection to each other.”
Nicacio: “He understood that”
Christian: “It was just weird. I felt really bad. I didn’t understand what was going on. I woke up kinda scared. It could have been anyone.”
To end the conversation, they shook hands in farewell and Nicácio secretly crossed his fingers in controversy.
