One film wasn't enough to tell the story of cinema's greatest rock group.
The Beatles, an ambitious project financed by Sony Pictures, the production of which rests on the shoulders of filmmaker Sam Mendes, will therefore be available in four films, each feature film telling the story of the Fab Four from the perspective of each of its members, John, Paul, George and Ringo, if I still need to name them.
The story will follow the Beatles from their beginnings to their dissolution in 1970.
According to the American press, which passed on the information on Tuesday morning, the Beatles, namely Paul, Ringo and the estate of George and John, will participate in the creation of the four films by giving the producers permission to use the music and its story use .
“It's an honor to tell the story of the greatest rock band in history, and I look forward to challenging the definition of what a cinematic journey is,” Oscar winner Sam Mendes said in a statement for the best Directed in 2000 for American Beauty.

Another renowned filmmaker, Ron Howard, delved into the world of the British quartet in 2016 when he chronicled the Beatles' touring years in the documentary The Beatles: Eight Days a Week – The Touring Years.
