Opinion on the evolution bracket
Holding on is a paid further development (75,000 credits or 350 FC) This allows you to significantly improve a defender and make him a much more meta option. However, the restrictions for obtaining a meta card are relatively high,

The best cards to hold on to
The choice of defenders is relatively large here, even if the aggressiveness limit significantly limits the meta options. We tend to prefer a player who is already meta in his unmodified version and has good physicality in the game, high defensive performance and possibly meta defensive playstyles. Our advice
We recommend you choose here primarily for your links. None of these cards should cause you to change your lineup. Therefore, choose a player who fits your commitments.
In a unique development, William Saliba appears to be the best card for this Evo slope. Like the Evo version of the Rare Defender from a month ago, the French player is once again a great option, still meta at this stage of the game.
Since many upgrades are currently available, combinations are easily possible. We really like Gomez and Kalulu here, who become very good DCs with full Center Evo.
There is nothing incredible among the special cards, especially given the current TOTW price. Therefore, we do not recommend you to buy any player on the market to perform this Evo. However, if you already have an unsellable version, why not?
