The veteran was a free agent after spending the last three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The man, who also worked for the Jacksonville Jaguars, amassed 4,478 rushing yards and 34 touchdowns in six seasons and 79 games in the NFL. He also caught 312 passes for 2,219 yards and seven majors.
The Bills have used three running backs so far this season. They are James Cook, Latavius Murray and Damien Harris. The former is considered the team’s number 1, but is anything but dominant. In eight games, he amassed 486 yards and just one touchdown on 102 carries.
The Bills (5-3) will return to action on Sunday when they visit the Bengals (4-3) in Cincinnati.
