The Block’s Scott Cam is frustrated after Hell’s week ends in disaster and embarrassment

The block’s infamous hell week ended sensationally on Monday with the shocking revelation that not a single team had fully completed their project.

In the nerve-wracking episode, host Scott Cam put the Blockheads through their paces and took them to task for not completing their hallways on time.

“Has anyone actually finished their rooms here?” he asked the group, causing the participants to blush with embarrassment.

There was some good news for two blockheads, however, as Dylan Adams and Jenny Heath won the grueling Hell Week trial by just half a point, posting a score of 27 and walking away with $10,000.

The jury was impressed with their nearly completed 40 meter long hall and said if it was finished they would have received a perfect score.

The pair were followed by Tom and Sarah-Jane, who left dejected with a score of 26.5.

Cam didn’t mince his words and bluntly told all the teams that the best thing about Hell Week is that it’s finally over.

The teams roared with excitement and were all thrilled to have a busy week behind them.

Controversial contestants Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra later vented on camera, with a frustrated Ankur declaring it was the “highest week ever”.

The infamous Hell Week earned its nickname as Blockheads must transform a hallway, laundry room and powder room within a strict time limit.

Scott Cam previously said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show that growing tensions behind the scenes during Hell Week can make or break contestants.

He told co-hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson couples have even split as a result.

“People got engaged too, but there have been a few breakups. It’s one of those things, we all know that renovating as a couple is difficult,” he explained.
