The Block’s Kristy and Brett were left red-faced when things took an awkward turn during their appearance on the Fox series “Fifi, Fev & Nick” on Thursday.
Kristy and Brett confronted host Nick Cody, accusing him of spreading negative press about the couple.
But the pair’s ambush failed when Cody said he didn’t even recognize the pair.
“You’ve called us toxic on this show, you’ve called us bad people on this show…It’s very obvious what you want people to think about us,” Brett said.
They also suggested that the presenter may have had a hand in their landscaper Dan appearing on the show to discuss their on-screen disputes.

Fifi Box interjected, asking which of the three radio presenters had used such derogatory terms.
Brett promptly pointed the finger at Cody, who had the perfect answer.
“Mate, I’ve actually never seen a picture of this show and I couldn’t care less,” he said.
“You called us toxic on this show, you called us bad people on this show… It’s very obvious what you want people to think about us,” he raged
Cody’s response was pure gold: “Dude, I’ve actually never seen a picture of this show and I couldn’t care less,” he said
“People argue about building a house? I do not care at all. I haven’t heard of it for a second. That’s the most hurtful thing anyone has ever said – accusing me of watching The Block!’
As the interview continued, Kristy and Brett couldn’t resist bumping again, this time against block competitors Eliza and Liberty.
The duo criticized the sisters’ claim that they would need therapy if Kristy and Brett made more profit on auction day.
Brett commented: “They said they’d need therapy if we won more money – do you know how evil that crap is?”
“You’re ruining the experience for everyone else.”
