The Sûreté du Québec confirms it has found the bodies of three missing people on Monday, five days after the explosion and fire that devastated the propane Lafortune distributor at Saint-Roch-de-l’Achigan in Lanaudière.

Fire scene technicians and investigators continue to analyze the crime scene in an agricultural sector on the outskirts of the small community. A partnership has also been established with experts from the forensic and forensic medicine laboratory and the Transportation Safety Board of Canada, says Hélène St-Pierre, spokeswoman for the Sûreté du Québec.

According to our information, the first two victims were Céline Pilon and France Desrosiers, both working as secretaries. The third, a man, worked for the company.
The victims are being transported to the Forensic Science and Medicine Laboratory to be identified, per the Coroner’s Office request, Ms St-Pierre adds.
The authorities are also taking legal action to allow the investigation to continue, the spokesman said.
