He assured that the company had spoken to them and knew that they would contribute in some way to promoting the destination of Bolivia.

“We don’t just want to bring tourists to the Caribbean, we want to bring them there,” he said in statements to the press.

He pointed out that all the connectivity that Caracas and Havana offer from Viru Viru with Argentina, Lima and Sao Paulo will contribute to the dream of making Viru Viru a real hub or point of concentration.

“We will bring passengers from South America, concentrate them in Viru Viru and take them to Europe, the United States and the Caribbean, creating more intense movement over our Santa Cruz airport,” said.

Regarding the Cuba route, the manager reiterated that all procedures have been completed and that they have received a lot of cooperation throughout the preparation phase.

He considered that it will be very favorable for Bolivians since it is a destination in the Caribbean, one of the regions of the world with the greatest recovery in tourism after the Covid-19 pandemic, which shows that it is important for the world.

“From October 26, the date of our first flight, we want to offer Havana, Cuba, as a destination with a weekly flight for seven-day tourist packages,” affirmed Casso.

He emphasized that BOA will also offer combinations with shorter packages.

Casso announced this news at the pavilion of the Bolivian Vice Ministry of Tourism at the Santa Cruz International Fair in the presence of the ambassadors of Cuba and Venezuela, Danilo Sánchez and César Trómpiz.
