The Breaking Bad child star hasn’t been cast in a single movie or TV show for nearly a decade
A child star who made his acting debut in 2010’s Breaking Bad hasn’t had a role in a film or television show for nearly a decade.
Mexican-American actor Ian Posada, now 20, was last cast in Sicario in 2015. His eight-episode role as Brock Cantillo on the hit Netflix drama series ended two years earlier in 2013.
According to his IMDb page, his only other credit is a 2014 short film titled Heirloom.
Posada landed his role in Breaking Bad when he was just six years old, in the 11th episode of the show’s third season.
He was introduced to viewers after Jesse Pinkman met Brock’s mother Andrea at a Narcotics Anonymous meeting with the intention of selling her methamphetamine.

Key role: The actor was just six years old when he began filming alongside Bryan Cranston (left as Walter White) and Aaron Paul (right as Jesse Pinkman).
However, upon realizing that his intended client had a young son, Aaron Paul’s character began a relationship with her and became friends with Brock.
With Jesse’s financial backing, the boy and his mother relocated to a safer area before Brock became the chess ball of Walter White’s manipulation of Paul’s character.
Walter poisoned Brock but convinced Jesse it was rival Gustavo Fring – whom Jesse then killed.
Posada’s involvement with the show ended with another incident in which Jesse was manipulated, this time with Walter stating that if Jesse had to constantly lie about his involvement with narcotics, his relationship would come to nothing.
As a result, the relationship with Andrea ended and he stopped dating Brock, but not before being trapped again when Jesse attempted to kill Walter as a final revenge after learning of his deception.
That last appearance was in season five, but viewers got a later reference to the son in 2019’s El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie when Jesse addressed a letter to him.
Despite being such a pivotal role in the hit series, Posada hasn’t been able to continue his acting career since, even though it’s still in its infancy.
His supporting role in the drug war film Sicario eight years ago was his last credit, but he still describes himself as an actor on his Instagram.
