- A bride took to Facebook with a photo of her DIY wedding catering “pool.”
- She decided to blow up an inflatable pool and cook pasta salad in it
- It looks like the salad contains 13 kilos of pasta with vegetables
- Many commenters were against the idea as it can spread a type of bacteria
- “If I were invited to this wedding, I would say no now,” said one woman
A bride has shocked the internet with a picture of her DIY wedding catering that took days to prepare in a children’s inflatable pool.
The woman, who posted a photo of the 13kg worth of pasta on Facebook, was delighted with her homemade creation.
“Wedding dinner on the third day… 30 pounds of pasta salad. Yes this is an inflatable pool)” she captioned the photo.
The paddling pool appeared to be full of fusilli pasta of various colors along with olives, cherry tomatoes, salami and cheese.

There seemed to be no way for the food to be refrigerated, which greatly worried her Facebook colleagues.
“Day three… so the wedding is probably a few days away. You will literally kill guests with unrefrigerated pasta salad. Bacillus cereus is no joke!’ one person wrote.
“I think at this point I would definitely dox her and send this picture to people on her friends list to tell them to share this information. That could honestly kill people,” said a second.
“How long will it sit in this tank? Noodles can kill you once they start producing bacteria! Never eat old pasta!’ another warned.
‘Omg wtf. Are they trying to murder their entire wedding? Noodles are so dangerous if not stored properly!’ a fourth intervened.

While symptoms are generally mild and can last up to 48 hours, deaths have been recorded in people who have taken it in the past.
Other commenters were appalled at the use of a paddling pool to preserve their prized food.
“Oh, that thing my toddlers have been peeing in all summer? It also doubles as a serving tray!’ joked one group member.
“The option for aluminum pans [was] RIGHT THERE,” stressed a second.
“If I were invited to this wedding and saw this post I would immediately change my answer to ‘no,'” wrote another.
