Filming for Bridgerton’s third season is in full swing as the cast were seen in their incredible regency attire on Edward Street in Bath on Wednesday.
The cast rode in horse-drawn carriages as they rode through the city’s historic streets for the upcoming scenes.
It comes after it was reported that filming for the third series had been halted after bosses thought some of the storylines had gotten “too dark”.

The female stars were seen with their hair up in tight curls and wore a range of pastel colored dresses.
One woman wore a pink tulle dress with a teal satin jacket and ruffled collar, while another wore a lilac flower-embellished dress.
One man was seen wearing a short blue tuxedo and purple tie, and many of the cast wore blankets and coats to warm up between takes.

Bridgerton’s third series began filming in July, with the new series of episodes set to focus on the love story of Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
Along with the exciting news that filming has resumed, it was also announced that three new cast members will be joining the romantic series.
Daniel Francis, who previously appeared in Stay Close, will join the cast as Marcus Anderson, “a charismatic presence who lights up every room he walks in and draws the attention of certain matriarchs in the bin – and the wrath of others”.

Meanwhile, The Crown’s Sam Phillips will play Lord Debling, who has been described as a genius lord with “unusual interests”.
A description of his character adds: “But with wealth and a title of nobility to back up his eccentricities, he will not lack interest among young ladies this season.”
And James Phoon – who appeared in Wreck – will appear as Harry Dankworth in season three.

Sources working on the production of the Netflix blockbuster say some of the scripts have had to be rewritten as Shonda Rhimes, the program’s producer, wants to bring viewers more enjoyment.
It is understood there were concerns about a sex act.

In 2021 it was announced that there would be a third and fourth series from Bridgerton following the success of the first two. The series is based on the romantic novel series by American author Julia Quinn.
