The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced their eagerly awaited return this Wednesday.

This isn’t another early retirement from quarterback Tom Brady, but rather the return of her iconic orange jersey.

The Florida club returns to its roots with this vest, inspired by the vest the team wore when it made its NFL debut in 1976. For the occasion, the Detroit Lions will be at Raymond James Stadium.

The Buccaneers wore an orange jersey full-time until 1996. The color was also used on alternate uniforms between 2009 and 2012.

“Our fans have waited a decade to see our players again in these classic ‘Creamsicle’ jerseys,” said Brian Ford, the Buccaneers’ chief operating officer, in a statement.

“As we usher in a new era for the Buccaneers, we want to honor those who have played an important role in our club’s journey while attracting a new generation of fans who will fuel our future success.”
