The end-of-season gifts continue on the part of the Montreal Canadiens, who recalled Laval Rocket forward Lucas Condotta on Thursday afternoon.
The 25-year-old center will join the big club for tonight’s game against the Boston Bruins at Bell Center. He will replace Mike Hoffman in the lineup.
Condotta has played in all 71 games for the Rocket so far this season, amassing 30 points. He will join his Montreal teammates Joël Teasdale and Frédéric Allard, who were recalled earlier this week.
This change in personnel is surprising, the Ontarian is not even one of the top 10 top scorers in the school club this season. In the midst of the American League playoff race, the Rocket will need most of their ammo for their final game of the season on Friday against Syracuse Crunch.
The UMass-Lowell River Hawks product is in its second season at Laval but its first full season.
