The Montreal Canadiens recalled goaltender Cayden Primeau from Laval Rocket on Monday.

The 23-year-old athlete is joining Sainte-Flanelle in Philadelphia, where she will face the Flyers on Tuesday night. The Habs players are currently in Buffalo for a duel against the Sabers.
Primeau has played 19 games in the National Hockey League in his career, having seen action in a game with the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge in 2022-2023. On January 19, he came to relief in a game against the Florida Panthers, allowing one goal on seven shots in a 6-2 loss.
At the American League’s Rocket this season, the American had a 14-14-6 record, a .906 save percentage and a 3.13 goals-against-cleans average in 35 games this season.
Primeau was a seventh-round pick (199th overall) of the CH in the 2017 draft.
