Keisha Nash Whitaker has died at the age of 51.

According to a death certificate obtained by TMZ, the model, actress and producer's death was caused by “alcoholic liver disease” – an illness she had lived with for years. The document also mentions acute kidney failure as another contributing factor to his death.
According to the certificate, Forest Whitaker's ex-wife was buried in Los Angeles on December 20, two weeks after her death.
Forest Whitaker and Keisha Nash Whitaker were married since 1996 until the actor filed for divorce in 2018 citing “irreconcilable differences.” They had two children together – Sonnet, 27, and True, 25. Keisha Nash Whitaker also has another daughter, Autumn, 32, from a previous relationship who Forest Whitaker raised.
True Whitaker confirmed her mother's death on December 7 with a loving message on Instagram: “Farewell mom. I love you forever and beyond. The most beautiful woman in the world… Thank you for teaching me everything I know. I will see you in my dreams and I will feel you in my heart. »
Forest Whitaker (62) and his ex-wife met on the set of the action film Blown Away in 1994. Keisha Nash Whitaker starred in the film Proud (2004) and produced the documentary Kassim the Dream (2008) about Ugandan-born world champion boxer and former child soldier Kassim “The Dream” Ouma.
