The Cavinder twins and Miami suffer March Madness heartbreak as LSU knocks them out in Elite Eight … after the 22-year-old TikTok stars took over the tournament during the Cinderella run
Sunday night marked the end of March Madness Road for Miami and her TikTok sensation Cavinder twins after they were defeated 54-42 by No. 3 LSU.
Miami entered the game as a big underdog and ninth seed, but very confident after picking off No. 4 seed Villanova, No. 1 seed Indiana and No. 8 seed Oklahoma State in the earlier rounds.
However, the Final Four proved a step too far as LSU dominated in Greenville, South Carolina to burst Miami.
The Hurricanes have become the most talked-about team at the women’s NCAA tournament, thanks in part to their Cinderella run, but also thanks to their two famous TikTok players, Hanna and Haley Cavinder.
Hanna came into the Elite Eight duel for six minutes and spent most of the game on the bench while her sister Haley had two points and four rebounds in 29 minutes.

The couple have amassed a whopping 166,000 Instagram followers and over 4.5 million followers on a very active TikTok account.
The 22-year-old has used her young stardom to earn several NIL deals and it has been reported that they are now worth $850,000 each.
That lists them as the top two women in college basketball and 32nd and 33rd overall in college sports.
Early in the Elite Eight game, Haley Cavinder led the University of Miami in points – averaging 12.6 per game – but it was Jasmyne Roberts who rose that night to reach 22 for her team, with four being second-best were.
The twins have amassed a massive following on social media and have a whopping 4.5 million TikTok fans

LSU will now face either No. 1 South Carolina or No. 2 Maryland in next weekend’s Final Four, with the other game being Virginia Tech/Ohio State and Louisville/Iowa.
For the Cavander twins, attention will now turn to social media again, with the pair expected to release the first part of their March Madness vlog on Monday.
They also host a podcast together and post regularly on their social media channels.
