The Boston Celtics wasted no time in passing their coin to the Miami Heat, who won Game 4 of the Eastern Finals 102-82 on Monday at TD Garden.
The crowd favorites evened the odds in the series, which returns to Florida for Game 5 on Wednesday.
In the duel of the day, the Celtics showed no mercy for their opponents, who, from the first minutes of the game, gained a lead of 22 points before the end of the first quarter. They even increased this lead to 32 points sometime in the third quarter.
Jayson Tatum continued his impressive run in the playoffs, amassing 31 points, eight rebounds and five assists in the win.
On the Heat side, Victor Oladipo had 30 points in the loss. Few members of the visitors had a good game. None of the five starting players exceeded the 10 point mark.
