La 1 broadcasts the traditional Christmas lottery draw live from the Teatro Real. La 2, in turn, offers a new edition of the Filmtage section. Meanwhile, Antena 3 returns to the La Voz format, this time with fights between contestants who were already on the program. When it comes to cinema, two films dominate the day: an almost cult film from the eighties, Gremlins, and a historical classic, My Fair Lady.

TVE opens the Christmas holidays with the live broadcast of the Christmas lottery draw, which starts at 9:15 a.m. from the Teatro Real. The boys and girls of San Ildefonso will traditionally distribute the prizes. Sandra Daviú and Blanca Benlloch will be responsible for broadcasting on La 1, TVE Internacional and RTVE Play for the seventh consecutive year and the public broadcaster will distribute the signal to all media.
