Cuba. A delegation from Cuba, made up of representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Pro Cuba, attended the Expocomer 2023 International Fair, held in Panama City from March 28th to 30th this year.
Pro Cuba Deputy Director Manuel Cumbrado held important meetings with companies from the Colon Free Zone, including BridgeMarkets, which manages a sales and promotion platform in the region, and Alcázar, which has expressed an interest in doing business in Cuba .
This important fair, held every year in Panama, aims to promote business meetings between different international and national companies, mainly in the fields of logistics, food, technology and electronics.
Cuba attends this gathering every year and presents an important portfolio of business opportunities considering Panama is a key trading partner for the largest of the Antilles.
A recent visit to the island by Federico Alfaro, the Channel Country’s Head of Trade and Industry, reviewed the current Supplementary Economic Agreement and agreed to reactivate pre-Covid-19 pandemic arrangements with the Attraction Authority Investment and Export Promotion.
