The death of an overdose of a man whose parents founded Toni & Guy USA led Los Angeles police uncover a lucrative Hollywood drug group allegedly run by a woman with a jaguar pet who used little-known actors as delivery drivers.
Ray Mascolo – the son of multimillionaires Bruno and Chiara Mascolo, who are also co-founders of the popular hair care brand Bed Head – died in his $ 3 million Beverly Hills on November 16, 2020.
The 37-year-old father of a child was found dead on the kitchen floor by a maintenance worker led there by his Chihuahua puppy Versace, according to Los Angeles Times.
Mascolo broke his long-held sobriety the night before by ordering $ 160 oxycontin, which was stocked with fentanyl, from a drug dealer who used the pseudonym “Mimi Snowy,” according to court documents.
Investigators traced the drugs to 33-year-old Mirela Todorova, using text messages sent between the two on the night of Maskolo’s death. It is also alleged that Mucktarr Kather Sei – a struggling actor with live roles in TV shows, including SWAT and Lucifer – delivered the drugs to Mascolo.
At the time she was allegedly linked to the deadly drug deal, Todorova was in Mexico caring for her pet princess Jaguar, according to an indictment received from DailyMail.com.

Property records show that their troubled son lived and died in a more modest 3,500-square-foot home in North Beverly Drive, sold for $ 3 million in March 2020.
Investigators traced the drugs to 33-year-old Mirela Todorova, using text messages sent between her and Maskolo on the night of his death. At the time she was allegedly linked to the deadly drug deal, Todorova was in Mexico caring for her pet jaguar princess.
The night before he died, Mascolo used his iPhone X to send a message to Todorova, saying, “Hey. “That’s nice, honey,” according to documents filed in a California court.
“It was a terrible moment,” he continued. “Do you have bars, lean girl?” But Intl super fire giirl.
A minute later came the answer that said, “Available delivery: I have C, M, K, pink 2CB, addy, xan, oxy blues, acid, mushrooms, chocolate candy mushrooms.”
“Doping,” Mascolo said. ‘I’ll take 2 Oxy blues and like 40 punches.’
In the legal file, an agent of the US Drug Enforcement Administration interprets “bars” and “lean” as the anti-anxiety drug Xanax and a codeine-based product. Mascolo is known to be abusing codeine products, the criminal complaint said.
The messages he exchanged before his death showed that he was desperate to make amends, saying at one point, “So come to my crib in Beverly Hills as soon as possible.” Like now, please, darling. I have to pick up my daughter tomorrow.
But the oxycontin he ordered was fake, and the test was later positive for traces of fentanyl, investigators said.
Less than 12 hours after they exchanged their last text, he was dead.

Investigators said the drugs he ordered were later tested and found to contain fentanyl
Muqtar Kater Say – an actor who has appeared on television shows, including SWAT and Lucifer – delivered the drugs to Maskolo the night before he died, according to charges
Todorova was arrested in March 2021 after DEA agents used a search warrant to search her Hollywood apartment, where they allegedly found at least nine plastic bags containing pills, which were later found to be that they contain fentanyl.
901.76 grams of cocaine, 89.8 grams of ketamine and other drugs, as well as Bulgarian, Canadian and American passports were seized, according to the criminal case.
In her phone, which was also confiscated, she kept Moscalo’s number as “Ray – a client, a rich child”, court documents said.
According to the criminal complaint, she used a network of at least 19 drivers to deliver drugs to multiple customers. Police say Todorova earned $ 750,000 from drug trafficking last year alone and also bought Tesla for $ 152,000.
An indictment filed last week identified Muqtar Kater Say, an actor who has appeared on television shows, including SWAT and Lucifer, as the man who delivered the drugs to Mascolo the night before he died.

In March 2020, months before his death, he announced his Mercedes Benz E550 Cabriolet for sale in anticipation of the birth of his daughter.
The exchange of texts set out in the indictment shows that Say has worked as a drug courier for Todorova since at least June 2020, making $ 200 for a six-hour shift at one time.
He also helped with “kitchen chores” by cooking drugs, the indictment said.
Both Sei and Todorova were charged last week with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances, distribution of fentanyl resulting in death, possession with intent to distribute controlled substances and criminal seizure.
Todorova denied the allegations, and her lawyer, Alex R. Kessel, told the Los Angeles Times that it “has absolutely nothing to do with the distribution of drugs that caused someone’s death, let alone Maskolo’s death.”
The lawyer told the newspaper that Todorova accused her Mexican boyfriend of using her phone to cover up her drug activities.
“There are other people, much older and more involved than Ms. Todorova,” Kessel told a judge last month in a failed attempt to secure her release on bail, according to the Los Angeles Times.
