The Devils mysterious identity is the key to turning things

The Devil’s mysterious identity is the key to turning things around for AEW

The ratings and viewership are in for this week’s (November 29) episode of AEW Dynamite.

According to Wrestlenomics, Dynamite drew 858,000 viewers and a 0.29 rating in the 18-49 demographic. These are Dynamite’s best results in both categories over the last six episodes.

AEW’s Continental Classic will dominate television time on Dynamite for the rest of the year. The concept of a round-robin tournament full of matches ranging from good to great has its appeal, but Dynamite always offers matches ranging from good to great, even if there is no such tournament. So I’m looking more at the devil’s perspective with AEW World Champion MJF as the key to increasing AEW’s ratings from now on.

For what it’s worth, WWE commentator Corey Graves seems to be it I’m getting RETRIBUTION vibes from yesterday’s angle with masked attackers chasing MJF and being driven off by Samoa Joe. Hopefully Tony Khan has a big star hiding behind that devil mask, because this is AEW’s most intriguing story right now; There needs to be a proper reward that doesn’t make wrestling fans think of the disaster that was RETRIBUTION.
