The Philadelphia Eagles beat the San Francisco 49ers 31-7 in the Nationals final to secure their ticket to Super Bowl LVII on Sunday.

The Pennsylvania squad was driven by their ground play and robust defense.
The winners’ four touchdowns were scored on the runs. Miles Sanders (twice, Boston Scott and Jalen Hurts crossed the goal line. Overall, the Eagles had 148 rushing yards and had nearly 37 minutes of possession.
On the defensive, the quarterback hunters made life difficult for the “Niners”. Haason Reddick hit center Brock Purdy hard in the first quarter and the young sensation injured the elbow of the arm he throws the ball with.
The very last pick of the NFL’s recent draft was forced off the field before being forced back on it in the third quarter due to his substitute, Josh Johnson, also being injured.
One of the NFL’s big revelations this season, Purdy was sent into the fray in Week 13 after Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance got into action. The young quarterback suffered the first loss of his career against the Eagles.
Running back Christian McCaffrey scored the 49ers’ only touchdown. He reached the payzone for a ninth straight game.
It is also the Eagles’ first appearance in the Super Bowl since the 2017 season. They defeated the New England Patriots 41-33 and won the Vince-Lombardi Trophy for the first time. This is the fourth time that the Philadelphia club have a chance to become champions.
