The bargaining committee of the Laval-Rive-Nord Professionals Union, SPPLRN-SCFP 5222, affiliated to the FTQ, has reached an agreement on sectoral issues with the employers' bargaining committee of the French-speaking school service centers, TVA News has learned.
With the agreement reached shortly after 1 a.m., the FTQ concluded all negotiations at the industry tables.
These basic agreement hypotheses, which must be ratified by the union authorities, are then sent to members so that they can decide on the agreement.

The SPPLRN-SCFP represents 1,000 educational network professionals working in the Laurentides, Lanaudière and Laval regions.
The danger of an indefinite general strike that threatens the Common Front union members is due to the negotiations taking place at the central table on salary issues.
These negotiations resumed on Boxing Day after a short 24-hour break.
