The end of Barbarian explained

At the end of the film, Tess returns to Airbnb to save AJ who witnessed Frank’s suicide. Both manage to escape from the house, but the mother is still alive and continues the hunt. The antagonist walks down the street and murders the neighbor who was covering for Tess and AJ. He then attacks AJ and gouges out his eyes, causing a brutal death. Ultimately, Tess shoots the mother and survives Barbarian’s torment.

The film thus suggests that women are nowhere safe. Barbarian introduces cruel acts of men, with Frank going from house to house to rape and abuse. Therefore, at the end of the production, the point is that the female victims have to repeatedly justify their own actions in order to make someone understand what they have been through.

Therefore, Barbarian portrays varying degrees of crimes against women and portrays Frank and AJ as “opposites”. The first record of abuse and rape of women they hold in prison. The second “only” has a rape allegation on his back, which is why he thinks he is better and superior.

Finally the Barbarian film is available in the Star+ service catalogue.
