Neil Jordan has never been a media director, but without much fanfare he has built a career that includes memorable works like The Company of Wolves, The Crying Game and the recent Breakfast on Pluto. This approach to the literary work of Graham Greene, in which Jordan leaves his usual Irish territories, moves to London during the Second World War and explodes a story with a heightened romantic flavor. “The End of Romance” is a suffocating film with an inevitably bitter aftertaste, immersing its dark characters in a romantic relationship rocked by both passion and resentment.
“On the Cover” approaches Finland

The report, “Finland, Defense in DNA,” airing on the cover today, takes a closer look at the European country that shares the largest border with Russia. Finland joined NATO this year without the need for a referendum, with defense one of its priorities. With a population of just under five and a half million, the population remembers that when Russia invaded Ukraine, it was inevitable to remember some of their history, particularly the attempted Soviet occupation in the so-called Winter War of 1939, when the USSR took part of the Ukraine annexed Finnish territory.

A film director rests in a spa and reflects on his life, mixed with his fantasies in an overwhelming swirl of images. This is a clear alter ego of Fellini himself; after filming The sweet life, With his eighth film, Fellini faced a new creative cycle (hence why he argued that this work was his eight and a half film) and moved away from neorealism to address the visual constants present in his subsequent works would. Furthermore, in an unusual and stunning waste of imagination, the teacher reflects on the role of the artist in society.
“MasterChef” enters the palace of “The Promise”

The participants of MasterChef Celebrity receive a very special invitation this week, as the Marquises of Luján, protagonists of the series The Promise, enter the program because they need your help to find the new kitchen team that will work at their service. The challenge is to provide a gastronomic feast for the 80 members of the series’ film crew.

In this week’s episode of “The Rookie”, journalist Sonsoles Ónega, winner of the 2023 Planeta Prize, becomes a mentor to former footballer Joaquín to teach him how to write a report in the middle of the street. During the interview, Ónega will review his professional and personal career and later show Joaquín the peculiarities of his profession until he takes an exam as a street reporter, although he undergoes a physical change to remain unnoticed.
