MOSCOW, June 24 (RHC) – Russia’s enemy is counting on a civil war breaking out in the country, but there will be none, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said today.

As the diplomat wrote on her Telegram channel this Saturday: “Today they seduce us all and test our strength.” Don’t get carried away! Along with the President! May God bless us,” he said.

In this context, Zakharova recalled that there is only one commander-in-chief in Russia. “We have a supreme commander. Not two, not three. First. And he called on everyone to participate. “That’s the main thing now,” said the diplomat. “Just drive. Unit under the Supreme Commander’s banner,” he added.

On June 23, the Telegram channel associated with the founder of the Wagner Group, Evgeny Prigozhin, published several audio recordings with his voice, in which he stated that his units had been the target of attacks for which he blamed the military leadership from the country .

As a consequence of these statements, the Russian Federal Security Service initiated a criminal case for inciting an armed uprising.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his message to the citizens of Russia, described the activities of the Wagner group fighters as “armed insurgency and treason” and announced that the Russian authorities would take “tough” measures against the rebels.

The conflict between Russia’s Defense Ministry and Wagner Group chief Yevgeny Prigozhin intensified on Friday night with a fresh exchange of allegations that led to tightening security measures in several Russian regions and the opening of criminal proceedings against the head of the private military company.
