The Eurovillage at Valentino: 200 artists and 40 hours of show from May 7th to 14th in Turin La Stampa

From May 7th to 14th, on the occasion of Eurovision 2022, the Parco del Valentino will host the Eurovision Village: a real village, open to everyone, free of charge, designed for young people, families and anyone who wants to experience the atmosphere of the great international event that Turin preparing to host. In the “Village” in the second week of May, from 5 p.m., over 200 live artists will alternate in 40 hours of show, as well as testimonials and activists and with the participation of the event’s sponsors and institutional partners. On Tuesday 10th, Thursday 12th and Saturday 14th May, the big screens in the park will also be able to show live broadcasts of the Eurovision Song Contest semi-finals and grand final.

The choice of park

The Eurovision Song Contest event provides that the city will create an entertainment venue for citizens, tourists and guests from all over the world next to the Olympic Park – the main venue of the 66th edition. And so, in agreement with Ebu – European Broadcasting Union and Rai, Turin has identified the green space of Valentino, an evocative and historic Turin park, as the ideal place for positioning.
