Another week of releases is upon us, both on streaming platforms here in Brazil and in cinemas across the country. The big highlight is the release of the series “The Continental” on Amazon Prime Video, which will expand the universe of the John Wick series.
Cinemas are now getting two great films. The first of these is “The Expendables 4”, the new chapter of the action saga that brings together Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and other big stars. Another highly anticipated release is “Nosso Sonho,” which tells the story of the duo Claudinho and Buchecha.
And finally, two of Netflix’s most popular series are getting new episodes this week. “Blind Wedding” enters its fifth season and “Sex Education” receives the final chapters of the fourth and final season. Check out the full list!
1. The Continental: From the World of John Wick Season 1 (September 22)

One of Amazon Prime Video’s most anticipated series is finally releasing on the platform. “The Continental” tells the story of the famous hotel that gives the series its name and is part of the John Wick film universe. This is the first of several projects aimed at expanding the storyline of one of the most acclaimed action franchises of recent years.

Set in the early 1970s, the story follows young Winston Scott in his saga as he takes control of the legendary hotel that houses criminals from all over the world. To do this, he has to face a past that he has left behind. and become embroiled in the most fearsome conspiracies of the criminal underworld.
2. The Expendables 4 (September 21)

Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Co. are back. The fourth film in the action series promises to be one of the major releases of the year in the genre. And as always, there will be a number of stars in the cast.which includes rapper 50 Cent, former MMA fighter Randy Couture, Dolph Lundgren, Megan Fox and Andy García.

The plot puts the mercenary group in a fight against a powerful arms dealer, who in turn has a huge private army. To do this, they must use all their fighting skills, and count on the help of a group of newcomers who join to renew the group.
3. Our dream (September 21st)

One of the most popular and famous funk duos in Brazilian history is being made into a feature film. Our Dream, which is also the name of one of the artist’s most famous songs, will tell the story of Claudinho and Buchecha, from their humble childhood in Niterói to the peak of their fame.

The film also shows important moments in the duo’s career, such as their presence on TV shows, the big shows at the funk parties in Rio de Janeiro and how they both began to deal with fame.
4. Sex Education Season 4 (September 21)

- Original comedy series
The series that has become a Netflix favorite will have its fourth and final season this week. The teen comedy is one of the most popular on the platform, but that is not the reason why it was spared from the frightening cancellation of productions affecting several titles on the streaming platform.

The new season will show how the young people will cope with the move to Cavendish College, as the university has a completely different daily routine to what they were used to. Furthermore, Otis and Eric used this new beginning to erase the loser image they had at their old school.
5. Blind Wedding Season 5 (September 22)

One of Netflix’s most famous reality shows will have its fifth season. Blind Wedding is a program whose goal is to bring together 15 couples who have never met each other and only talk to each other indoors. After a long chat, they finally meet for the first time and at this point they become engaged, although it is the first time they have seen each other in person.

The first four episodes of season five, hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, will be released on September 22nd. Then, on the 29th, three more will be available, until the last two arrive on the platform in Octoberthereby maintaining Netflix’s new and controversial policy of splitting the same season into multiple parts.
