Freddie Falcon was seen sprinting after the boy before throwing him to the ground.

The player, obviously confused and upset, slammed the football on the ground before getting back to his feet.

However, the mascot approached the player and seemingly straightened up and taunted him before shoving him.

The player tripped before hitting back and hit the mascot in the face with the ball, sparking a fight between the two as they started pushing each other back and forth.

The boy’s teammates flocked to his defense and surrounded the mascot before the referee rushed in to stop the chaos.

After the referee separated the angry players from the mascot, Freddie Falcon appeared to celebrate his goal as he ran away in triumph, arm – or rather wings – raised.

It’s unclear if it was a joke or if Freddie Falcon was trying to get called up in the play corner.

The Falcons took a brutal blow themselves as they were already down 28-17 at halftime and subsequently lost 35-17 to Joe Burrow and Co.

Burrow threw for 481 yards and three touchdowns as the Cincinnati Bengals jumped to a wide lead and routed the visiting Falcons on Sunday.

The Bengals (4-3), winners of four of their last five games, made big plays to score touchdowns on their first four possessions and never faced threats.

Burrow connected with Tyler Boyd for a 60-yard drive and Ja’Marr Chase for 32- and 41-yard results while building a 28-7 lead by 49 seconds in the first half before the Falcons ( 3-4) recovered to score 10 points and reduce the half-time deficit to 11.

Boyd finished with eight receptions for a career-high 155 yards and Chase with eight more for 130 as the Bengals amassed 537 net yards on the Falcons’ 214. Tee Higgins added 93 yards and received on five catches.

Cincinnati stayed level on points with the Baltimore Ravens at the top of the AFC North standings.

The Falcons, who started the week at 385.2 yards per game ranked 27th in the NFL, were further hampered when they lost cornerback AJ Terrell to a hamstring injury in the first quarter.
