A few hours ago Netflix has released the first official trailer online The Fall of the House of Usherthe highly anticipated series based on Edgar Allan Poe’s story of the same name.
The new series focuses on the dark events of brothers Roderick (Bruce Greenwood) and Madeline Usher (Mary McDonnell), both heads of the profitable multinational Fortunato Pharmaceuticals. Together, the Ushers founded an empire full of wealth, privilege and power, Ma everything has it’s price.
The dark past The family’s history appears to be coming to light as the heirs to the dynasty begin to die one by one at the hands of a mysterious woman from their youth. The series’ disturbing first trailer gives us our first glimpse of the gruesome murders we’ll witness, through a woman who witnessed her rise to success at a young age.

The Fall of the House of Usher has a designated showrunner Mike Flanaganwho has already worked on acclaimed series such as midnight fair And The Haunting of Hill House. Flanagan also directed the series alongside Michael Fimognari. Both are also credited as executive producers alongside Trevor Macy and Emmy Grinwis.
Over and beyond Bruce Greenwood And Mary McDonnellcounts the cast of the series among its ranks Carla Gugino, Carl Lumbly, Mark Hamill, Michael Trucco, T’Nia Miller, Paola Nunez, Henry Thomas, Kyleigh Curran, Samantha Sloyan, Rahul Kohli, Kate Siegel, Sauriyan Sapkota, Zach Gilford, Willa Fitzgerald, Katie Parker, Malcolm Goodwin, Crystal Balint, Aya Furukawa, Daniel Jun, Matt BiedeL, Ruth Codd, Annabeth Gish, Igby Rigney And Robert Long Street.
The Fall of the House of Usher will be available Netflix out of 12th of October.
