A famously beautiful actress has officially come out and married her longtime partner.
Over the many years of broadcasting, Beautiful has consistently attracted crowds of viewers, including from different generations. Thanks to a truly explosive cocktail of passions, betrayals and last-minute twists that never cease to intrigue. In particular, the wives of Ridge’s character, known as a true icon of the series, have caught the attention of fans.

What happened to Joanna Johnson?
Among these wives, fans of the program liked the first Caroline Spencer, played by actress Joanna Johnson. However, several years have passed since his participation in the hit soap opera (in the end his character died within the series) and now his life has changed completely. In fact, many would have imagined that she would be involved in a long-term marriage to a scion of a high-ranking family. But things are not like that at all.
In the meantime, let’s step back and retrace Caroline’s story within the series. Spencer began her romance with Ridge in a very turbulent way. The woman was actually linked to his brother Thorne and then fell in love with the main protagonist of the soap. After various vicissitudes (and life-or-death struggles between Ridge and his brother), Ridge was finally able to marry his beloved Caroline.

Coming out and post beautiful life
Unfortunately, however, the woman soon fell ill with leukemia, and the marriage could not last long. However, shortly before she died from this disease, Carolina had time to tell Brooke and Taylor to take care of their beloved husband. Joanna then said goodbye to the show that made her famous today she could not be more relaxed, both professionally and emotionally.

Although she is actually mainly active as a producer and screenwriter (she worked on the screenplay of Hope & Faith, Fairly Legal and Young Champions, among others), she married privately in 2008 to a woman, Michelle Agnev, the promoter of an exclusive club in Los Angeles. The two women have also become mothers twice (to a boy and a girl) and their voices couldn’t be fuller.
Johnson’s coming out took place in May 2012, when she came out as gay during an interview with TV Guide. She and Agnev were able to marry in the four months that same-sex marriage was recognized in California.
Regarding her decision to step behind the camera and quit filming, Johnson has admitted she did regret nothing and that you have made the right choice based on your expectations. In short, anyone who would have liked to see her return in any series (perhaps guest-starring on Beautiful) will be disappointed…
