Britney Spears has confirmed her upcoming memoir will be narrated by Michelle Williams.

The highly anticipated audiobook The Woman in Me is narrated by Oscar-nominated actress Britney Spears, who records the introduction. “This book was a labor of love and all the emotions that come with it,” the singer said in a statement to People. It was exciting, heartbreaking and emotional to say the least to relive it all. For these reasons, I will only read a small portion of my audiobook.
“I’m so grateful to the incredible Michelle Williams for reading the rest,” she added, with the actress also confirming the news. “I support Britney,” she said in her own statement.

The autobiographical book was first announced in 2022, after Britney Spears’ long conservatorship ended and she regained control of her personal life and finances. “The impact of sharing his voice, his truth, was undeniable and changed the course of his life and the lives of countless others,” the book summary says. “The Woman in Me” reveals for the first time her incredible journey and the strength at the heart of one of the greatest artists in the history of popular music.”
“The Woman in Me” is expected to be released on October 24th.
