Dave Grohl’s group is on tour in support of the album “But Here We Are”, which was released in June. The CD contains direct lyrics about loss and returning to the rock of Foo Fighters’ roots.
In addition to the new songs, the show also features the band’s hits to sing along to. “All My Life,” “The Pretender,” and “Walk” typically open performances.
Beforehand, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs will perform iconic indie rock songs like “Maps” and “Zero” on the Skyline Stage. The trio was chosen to replace the band Queens of the Stone Age, who canceled their participation in the festival.
The main stage will also feature performances by Garbage, one of alternative rock’s most important bands, and Pitty, who are touring to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their most important album, Admirável Chip Novo.
Highlights on Stage The One include the British indie duo Wet Leg and a meeting between the band Barão Vermelho and Skank singer Samuel Rosa.
What is The Town’s lineup like?
The city’s first weekend took place last Saturday (2) and Sunday (3). The second phase of the festival began on Thursday (7) and will last until Sunday (10). Names like HER, Kim Petras, Iza and Bruno Mars will also appear.
Tickets are sold on the event’s official website. The daily price is R$815 for full price and R$407.50 for half price.
