Fox News host Julie Banderas sensationally announced she was getting a divorce on live TV before slamming Valentine’s Day, claiming she “didn’t get anything” when she was married.
The mother-of-three, 49, hinted at her surprise announcement on Twitter just hours before Thursday night’s show, writing: “Tune in tonight at 11pm ET @gutfeldfox. I have a little announcement at the end of the show. (During the Valentine’s Day segment, ironically).’
Banderas was spotted laughing as host Greg Gutfeld asked if she was “getting anything for Valentine’s Day” and if their relationship was “over.”
“F**k Valentine’s Day,” she replied as she sat coolly and rested her arm on the back of the chair. “Yes, it’s stupid. Even when I was married, I didn’t get anything for Valentine’s Day… well, I’m going to get a divorce, I’ll say it here for the first time.
“Congratulations are in order, if you know me you’d clap… That was breaking news, right there,” the 18-year-old Fox veteran joked.

Banderas, who married her husband Andrew Sansone, 55, in 2009, called the special day a “brand holiday.”
“It’s stupid, it’s absolutely ridiculous,” she said, before offering advice to the men in the audience on how to give flowers to their significant others.
“By the way, guys, if you want to buy your girl flowers, don’t bring them in a box, that’s the only advice I have for you guys,” she said. ‘If you get in a box, you better be dead.’
She also encouraged male audiences not to bring “flowers in a box” to their significant other because “if you get in a box, you’re better off dead.”

She announced their split on December 9 on her Twitter page, saying the financial advisor will be her “soon to be ex,” in response to a fan who told her the couple had left her in “stitches.”
Banderas and Sansone were married in 2009 at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York City, aged 35 and 42 respectively.
