The source told police: “Armstrong became angry and was shaking with rage. Armstrong told the caller that Armstrong was so angry that Armstrong wanted to kill Wilson.

This tipster contacted the police on May 14, three days after Wilson was murdered. Armstrong was subsequently interrogated by the police and released on technical grounds.

The 34-year-old suspect then disappeared and has been on the run ever since.

But in the police affidavit, he admitted changing Mo’s number on his iPhone to an anonymous name after Armstrong found out about the affair in January and deleted her number from his phone.

On the day she was killed, Mo was in Austin before a race in Waco — which is 91 miles north.

That night she went to dinner with Strickland, who told police he swam with the 25-year-old in Deep Eddy Pool before a dinner of burgers in Pool Burger.

Strickland said he picked her up from her friend Caitlin Cash’s flat on his BMW motorbike at 5.45pm and dropped her off again at 8.30pm – shortly after stopping to text Armstrong to say he was giving flowers to another friend brought and so his phone ran out of battery.

A neighbor, who asked not to be named, said her surveillance cameras drove Armstrong’s black Jeep Cherokee into the property, which sits above a garage behind a larger home, at 8:35 p.m.

She also told that Armstrong had been caught on camera the previous day riding a bike in the same spot.

At 9.26pm, police received a call from Cash saying they had returned home to find Mo lying on the bathroom floor, covered in blood.

Police said she was shot multiple times, although neighbors, including the owner of the house directly connected to the garage, said none of them heard any gunshots or any type of disturbance.

The neighbor whose home security caught Armstrong’s car on camera told that she believes Armstrong used a silencer.

Armstrong was briefly arrested on an old warrant, but was released when police found it had expired.

During the police interview, she admitted it “doesn’t look good” when police pointed out that she was near the home at the time of the murder.

Armstrong has been on the run from authorities since May 14, and on the same day an anonymous caller told Austin Police Department that she had recently received a pistol.

US Marshals are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to Armstrong’s arrest.
