Big unhappy people
The publisher Blackie Books has created this very interesting podcast about the lights and shadows of great novelists, moderated and directed by the writer Javier Peña (author of the books Agnes and Infelices). “Great Unfortunates” discusses, chapter by chapter, the lives and works of outstanding writers who sometimes had lives like a novel, but not always happy lives. The episode dedicated to the Austrian Stefan Zweig and the reasons for his suicide is particularly captivating. This is also dedicated to Virginia Wolf.

What has never been said about the Trevi-Andrade case
They are me is a biographical series that has already been published in Latin America and reviews the life of the Mexican singer Gloria Trevi in 50 chapters. One of the highlights of the story is her time in prison, where she was tried (and later acquitted) for her alleged involvement in a network to corrupt minors. The podcast created by Uforia and Pitaya, entitled En Boca Cerrada, focuses from a different perspective on the biggest scandal in the entertainment world in recent decades, the Trevi-Andrade case, and how it paralyzed the entire world. One of the three protagonists of the case, Raquenel Portillo, better known by the name given to her by her perpetrator, Mary Boquitas, tells her story for the first time without interruptions and without leaving out details.
In English: ‘flower’
It has made the leap into English and has been well received in markets such as the United States and the United Kingdom. Swiss Tourism decided to unite the concept of podcast, travel and branded content through a fictional story that would take the listener to several of its museums and cities. The story tells the adventure of Clara Pastor, an art history student who disappears while writing her thesis on Ursula Blum, a 20th century avant-garde painter. Five years later, journalist Emma Castillo decides to travel to the Alpine country to continue Clara’s investigation and tell in a podcast what she finds out about the secret that surrounds both women. The nine-episode fiction created by Carmen Pacheco and Manuel Bartual for the podcast and sound documentary label El Extraordinario has become a milestone in the Spanish industry.
