Oscar nominated actor James Can he died at the age of 82 this Wednesday, June 6. He became internationally known through the role of Sonny Corleone in the feature “The Godfather”. The information was confirmed by the actor’s official profile on Twitter.

Career
James Langston Edmund Caan was born on March 26, 1940 in New York. He studied economics and played football at the University of Michigan in the USA. In college, he discovered his passion for acting and decided to change his major and go to the theater.
Caan appeared in plays in the early 1960s and made his television debut in 1961 with a cameo on the series Naked City. At that time he was using the name Jimmy Caan.
