But now, a rare fact, the organization has not filled all available spots this year. The Fairy Godmothers had planned to welcome 400 young girls over the weekend like before the pandemic. So far, however, only 270 registrations have been received.
“We’re a little surprised by that,” says Isabelle Corneau, the organization’s marketing and communications manager. “Given the current economic context where everyone is struggling a bit to make ends meet, we expected more traffic or interest,” she said.
The organization is therefore appealing to graduates who are in need of funds and who are looking for the prom dress of their dreams: Registration is still possible.
The event takes place on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Over 2500 dresses available.
