The Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina sees Europe as far from its own values

The basic conflict still exists: some want a common state for all citizens, others want to create separate territories that are dominated by a nationalist party according to ethno-religious criteria. In doing so, these nationalist forces want to indirectly continue the attempt to dismember Bosnia and Herzegovina, which led to mass murder and expulsion during the 1992 to 1995 war. The struggle between the two concepts continues in the southeastern European state because the international community does not take a clear position and many of its representatives from the EU and the USA, as well as High Representative Christian Schmidt, do not support the European-minded forces, but rather the nationalists, especially the Croatian nationalists.
