The Great British Bake Off's youngest ever contestant Martha Collison is pregnant with her first baby with husband Michael Haywood.
Now 27, Martha shot to fame on Bake Off in 2014 aged just 17, wowing then-judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood with talent beyond her years.
The former TV personality announced the good news on New Year's Day along with a series of sweet baking-themed jokes.
Showing off her baby bump in two snaps, Martha wrote: “Christmas with our own little pudding, expected to be ready in the spring” alongside the hashtags “#BabyBaker” and “#BunInTheOven.”
Martha shared the post on her Instagram Story with the additional caption, “Beyond thankful for this little blessing – our family is growing.”

The Baker reached the quarter-finals of the GBBO in 2014 and the series was eventually won by retired trainer Nancy Birtwhistle.

MasterChef semi-finalist Nisha Parmar wrote: “OMG!!! Martha!! This is the best bun you've ever baked!!! I'm so happy for you both!! Congratulations.'
Series nine quarter-finalist Manon Lagrève, who is pregnant with her second child, commented: “Awwww yay!!!! This is the best news!!!!! “Our babies are due at the same time.”
Frances Quinn, who won Bake Off the year before Martha's competition and also baked the world's largest Jaffa cake, also penned a sweet message.
She wrote: “Oh Martha, congratulations, I'm so happy for you and Michael and the whole family!” You're going to be the most wonderful mother and sending so much love and hugs Xx'.
Nancy Birtwhistle, who won the Bake Off series in which Martha took part, wrote: “Yay – beautiful Martha x.”
Martha married Michael Haywood, the father of her child, in 2019, and winner Nancy was among the guests, as were several other season five contestants.

The couple got engaged in January 2018 after three years together.
Finalist Richard Burr also attended the wedding along with Chetna Makan, Claire Goodwin, Iain Watters, Enwezor Nzegwu, Diana Beard and Kate Henry.
Each participant brought a cake; There was lemon cake, chocolate cake, red velvet cake and much more.
Martha's series is responsible for some iconic Bake Off moments, most notably BinGate, where contestant Ian Watters threw his Baked Alaska into the bin.
Martha is currently a columnist for Waitrose Magazine and Head of Shows at Virgin Radio UK. She has published two cookbooks: Twist and Crave.
Bake Off season 17 aired from September to November 2023, with Matty Edgell coming out on top.
The program also airs two festive specials each year: The Great Christmas Bake Off and The Great New Year's Bake Off, both featuring previous contestants.
