'The hardest working guy ever': Heartbreaking video shows injured biker delivering food using WALKER to hobble into D.C. restaurants to pick up orders: Now he's facing eviction from his home after being shot by was hit by a car

Arguably the capital's busiest delivery man was caught on camera limping from one food order to the next using a walker.

Kevin Ross, 44, was caught on camera by another delivery cyclist, Joshua Taylor Cavallero, who posted a video of him on his own Instagram account.

Cavallero himself has amassed a massive following of one million by posting videos of himself delivering food orders to residents and workers in Washington DC.

But when he posted his interaction with the hard-working Ross, who had been hit by a car just months earlier, his heart sank.

Cavallero was leaving an Indian restaurant when he happened to see Ross – along with a broken foot, holding on to a walker while locking his bike. Ross was walking in to pick up a food order when he struck up a conversation.

“You ride a bike with a broken foot?” Cavallero asked.

“Yes,” Ross replied.

“And you carry that around with you too?” he said and pointed to the walker. “On this bike?! “Brother, what are you doing? Do you mean that seriously?'

“I’ve got bills to pay, bro,” Ross explained.

Cavallero's generosity was evident when he offered to send Ross a tip.

“I appreciate you, brother. You're out here fighting, man. “You can really do it,” Cavallero said.

Ross broke his foot after being hit by a car in September, which put him in hospital for two weeks – but when he got out it didn't stop him going straight back to work.

Desperate for cash, he tried to donate blood plasma but was turned away due to his injury.

Ross had no choice but to just hit the road again and deliver for Grubhub and UberEats.

He was forbidden by doctor's orders from putting any weight on his injured foot, so when he wasn't pedaling he decided to use a walker that he had to attach to the front of his bike.

His work ethic impressed Cavallero, who praised Ross. This single video alone has generated more than 5 million combined views on Instagram and YouTube.

“This guy is the epitome of never giving up… I couldn't believe he did that.” But when he said he had bills to pay, it really hit him hard. “I couldn’t imagine having to ride a bike with a broken foot like that,” Cavallero wrote under his username BikingDC.

“I love how humble this guy was. He talked about it like it wasn't a big deal either.'

After the two met, during which Cavallero encouraged his viewers to donate to Ross, he discovered that $2,400 had been donated through Cash App.

Ross said he was unaware that Cavallero had publicly shared his Cash App information.

Along with the money came encouraging messages.

“Most of the comments were people showing me love.” I really appreciate people's kindness. Not just the money. “I went through all the comments and almost all of them are positive,” Ross told The Washington Post.

When the two met a second time, Ross insisted on inviting Cavallero to dinner.

“I appreciate what you did, man.” “I have to treat my husband to a meal,” Ross said.

In the video, the couple could be seen chatting again.

As they sat at the table, the two discussed how Ross was doing and how the unexpected donations had helped him.

“I looked on Cash App and wondered how long this had been around.” It didn't allow me to withdraw, but I was behind on my bills. When the money arrived, I was able to pay off the debt.'

Cavallero posted a follow-up video on his Instagram: “We donated money to the right man…he was nothing but humble and extremely grateful for what you guys did for him.”

“I would like to thank you all very much for your donation. I am so grateful to be able to use this platform to support the community. I can't thank you enough.'
