The continuation The heirs of the earth TV series born from Cathedral of the Sea, which aired on Mediaset last year, is coming to an end. Tonight is the last evening dedicated to the miniseries that takes stock of the protagonist’s situation.

The plot of The heirs of the earth starring Hugo Ilor, with a setting around 1300, in Spain. The man must avenge the murder of a friend of the Puig family. He then enters into a relationship with Regina, a married woman who falls in love with the man.
The relationship continues under the threat of Regina, who forbids him to marry the host’s daughter, breaking a previously made promise. At this point, in order to force the man to stay with her, the woman finds work with Puig’s wife, the family who commissioned the murder of Hugo’s friend.
He is therefore forced to comply with the woman’s requests, as he absolutely needs her help to uncover the Puigs’ secrets. In the episodes there are answers to questions left unanswered in previous episodes.

Open end, but with many doubts
Years have passed and Hugo’s daughter Mercè, the little girl he took care of, has grown up. Another king of Spain is crowned, naming Bernat admiral. Upon returning to Spain, Roger Puig, the man who plotted the murder of Hugo’s friend, is eventually killed.

Bernat marries Mercè. The latter disappears a few years later. Father Hugo investigates the mysterious disappearance and thinks it could be the umpteenth revenge of the Puig family.
